Join us as a panel of ghost hunters discuss their own methods and experiences in
‘Investigating Ghosts’ followed by a Q&A and panel discussion.

Panel:
Paul Cowdell: Paul is a serving committee member of the Folklore Society who has recently submitted his thesis on ‘Belief in Ghosts in
Post-War England’
Rosie Murdie: Rosie has lead ghost investigations with the Ghost Club
Jim Arnold: Jim is the psychic investigator and medium with South West London Paranormal.
The evening will begin with the Fortmanteau; our monthly summary of strange news stories.

Lecture by Charles Paxton, Cryptozoology: Science or Pseudoscience, Edinburgh Fortean Society, Edinburgh, UK

Believers, Forteans and even some skeptics hunt for the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot or the Tasmanian wolf.
Some people call these hunts "cryptozoology". But is cryptozoology
science?  And if it isn't science, could it be science in the future?

Also books of a Fortean nature will be available from various published authors in the group - an excellent chance to pick up some early
Christmas presents.
